Objective of the project is the development of educational modules to adapt to climate change for the secondary vocational education in agriculture und testing in the schools of Saxony/Germany. With this the topic of climate change and adaptation will be explicitly and interdisciplinary included in the curricula. Individual objectives are 

(1) Application of research results from project partners and further sources for education

(2) Development of didactical concepts and materials as components of secondary education including the experience of other federal states in Germany

(3) Provision of strategies and competence to solve adaptation of farms related to specific sited conditions using practical training and eLearning

(4) Testing of the new education material in pilot projects of secondary agricultural education

The working plan includes four working packages referring to project management, preparation of basic knowledge, transfer into teaching material and application at the vocational schools as a pilot study. The working packages are subdivided into individual tasks, which need the close collaboration of the partners involved. 

The individual tasks are A1. Project management, AP2. Preparation of research results from project partners and further sources as basic knowledge, AP3. Transfer into didactic training materials and development of case studies, AP4. Conduction of teaching during the pilot phase and evaluation.
